It is important that a “small town” attorney become familiar with several areas of the law so that he/she can respond to the needs of the community. Over the years, I have gained practical experience in several various areas of law. If I am confronted with an area of law with which I am not familiar, I do my best to recommend another experienced attorney in that field.

Problem Solving
To me, so much of practicing law involves problem solving. Really, when you think about it, most matters presented to a lawyer involve some sort of hurdle that must be overcome or resolved. A client introduces a problem to me, and it becomes my task to identify a solution to that matter. Being able to do so is what I find most fulling about being an attorney.
